Mission Accomplished

Photo: The Oakglen steams on; the Westcott returns to dock While I've been taking pictures, the crew has been delivering the mail. In just a few seconds, it's hauled aboard the freigher. Then the Westcott breaks free of the hull suction and bears off for the dock. The Oakglen steams on, with her crew now heading for mail-call. The whole trip takes just a few minutes from out to return. As the two vessels part, they exchange whistle signals: long-short-short, the Master's Salute.
