While I've been taking pictures, the crew has been delivering the mail.
In just a few seconds, it's hauled aboard the freigher. Then the
Westcott breaks
free of the hull suction and bears off for the dock. The
Oakglen steams on, with
her crew now heading for mail-call. The whole trip takes just a few minutes from
out to return. As the two vessels part, they exchange whistle signals:
long-short-short, the Master's Salute.
