Chloe is an AKC registered English Springer Spaniel. Her full name is Chloe Huntress of Sadie.
Her mother is from England, and although her real name is Dakota Kate, everyone calls her Sadie. Sadie is a field breed bitch, and her owner purchased her while stationed in England on Military duty.
Chloe's father is Hunter. He is a strong, tall dog bred from field stock by a gentleman from Hartland, Michigan.
Both Sadie and Hunter are owned by Chloe's breeder, Joe. We've had Chloe since she was 7 weeks old. We picked her out of a litter of seven. She was not the most aggressive puppy, but she turned out to be a little biting machine. After we got her home, we wondered if we had received the wrong puppy! She chewed on our fingers for weeks! She still has a very demanding notion about play, and will try to insist that you interact with her. She was almost three when this picture was taken.
We enjoyed Chloe's companionship for 17-years until she quietly passed away on the morning of August 8, 2007.
Here is Chloe and her owner Chris. As if you couldn't tell from the photograph, Chloe is Chris's little baby. I don't think this Springer will ever see a hunt.
