Alternatives to SeaDeck flooring?
I'm not happy with the non-skid deck (sole?) as it seems to get dirty really quickly. Starbrite works well to clean it up, but I was thinking of a SeaDeck install instead. But, that's somewhat "permanent" given the adhesive on the backing. I saw a marina-neighbor's Tiara had a mat that was...

I thought I'd pass along my experience using a box anchor with our 190 MONTAUK. I have a Danforth-type galvanized anchor with three-feet of chain followed by anchor rode in the bow anchor locker, and we typically take two to four attempts to get it set at various lakes. The bottom is typically mud o...

JimH: no - that wasn't Larry in the salmon-colored shorts. It was one of his passengers. They were all wearing Whaler shirts, by the way. My son in our SUV was wearing his Whaler hat, too! Sister Bay is a great place. While filling up, I had three people come by and compliment the Everglades.

The Everglades 230DC is a battlewagon. It feels super solid and is probably quite heavy for it's size.
Too bad they don't make it anymore, just the 340DC, but that's $450k+, so just a bit out of our price range. Only $350k higher than we'd ever spend on a boat.
