This boat popped up out of nowhere on a beach I put on CL aover a year ago. Don't need any more boats at the moment but thought I would share for folks near the panhandle of florida.

Re: Trim Tabs for 190 Nantucket-Outrage
OEM size is 9" x 9"
9"x12" has more adjustment. I speak from experience, IMHO I would go with the larger tabs. I now have a 205 Pioneer Sportfish. Yje OEM tabs were 9" x 9" and I installed 9" x 12". I can tell the difference.

Re: Preparing Nantucket 190 for Saltwater
Believe the post about replacing thru-hull fitting. My 2004 was a mint boat 170 hours, but the thru hulls were cracked upon close inspection. You do not want water to get to the transom. I personally did not like the Optimax. Mechanical nightmare. Very noisy. Good luck. 2004 Nantucket 190 is a very ...

Hi Phil, I still have a Viper 18P. I get 44-46 mph WOT depending on water conditions, I can tweak some more but I normally just use the ETEC G2 Auto Trim feature. Lots of hole shot. Here in NW Florida I tried a Dauntless, Montauk and Outrage. Here we have a large saltwater bay and it gets white caps a bunch during mid day. The ride in the Montauk 19 was the worst.
