I will appreciate very much appreciate help finding a wood locating diagram for a 2018 150 SUPER SPORT. I've tried searching and nothing comes up..

BACKSTORY.

I want to have Martin Marine Design make a swim platform with swim ladder for my 2018 150 SUPER SPORT. I need to know where the wood is in the port side of the transom. The original swim ladder is mounted low on the transom so I think I'm good for the bottom mounts of the new swim platform, but I need to know how high the wood goes up to the top of the transom.

If you scroll down to the swim mounting diagram here -https://www.nausetmarine.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/nausetmarine.com/2021/09/2003-2008-150-SPORT.pdf - you will see where to mount the platform. Note the bottom screws are lags.

As for Ray's platform, consult with him. I recall that his design allows for the bottom bolts to clear the deck and be through bolted. Check with Ray on this .

Thank you Phil T - That is all good information but that is for the previous model to my boat.

I have the 2018 model that was produced from 2009-2018. The transom is smaller as the deck slopes down towards the back of the boat and that makes the transom height lower. The little steps or seats just inside the transom coroners are a different shape as well.

I have done the tapping method, and it sounds like the only place there isn't any backing in the transom would be the upper outboard swim platform mount.

Due to the the new model transom shape thru bolting isn't an option there. Stainless steel toggles may be possible.

I will get with Ray and talk to him.

Sorry for the date typo on my part.

In section 5-10 of your owners manual is the reinforcement diagram. It shows item E, a 7" x 13" piece of phenolic on the port side corner of the transom as well as item A3, a 1-1/2" plywood area measuring 20" x 42".

Here is a link to the Owners Manual in .pfd format.
