I've heard of and seen some photos of bench seating across the back, most notably in the 21-foot Outrage. I own a 1994 Outrage 19 II. For years I have been looking for more comfortable seating. We spend much time at rest fishing or crabbing. Seating up front is limited to the cushion ahead of the windshield.
Has anyone experience with [adding a bench seat across the aft part of the cockpit] on [a Boston Whaler OUTRAGE 19 II]?
Has anyone a supplier who does Whaler work?
Also, [my 1994 Boston Whaler OUTRAGE 19 II has] the leaning post option. I have seen photos of a console back rest that is support in the rod holders.

Mike, I have seen the leaning post backrests offered for sale used on Craigslist (there's a pair of them being offered for $450 on the NH Craigslist right now), but for $260 brand new it will be hard to beat the price and quality of the Birdsall Marine backrests.
