I have just purchased a 2000 Conquest 28--my biggest Boston Whaler boat yet--and I am excited. The previous owner had the all-too-well-known problem of water intrusion into the teak and holly cabin sole. Before I start sanding and refinishing:
Q1: is the teak and holly cabin sole on a 2000 CONQUEST 28 made or solid wood or is veneer wood?
Q2: if the wood is just a veneer, do I need to be concerned about sanding through the veneer layer?
