Update on 2008 SONAR Installation and New Plans
I am about to replace the through-hull SONAR transducer on my 1998 OUTRAGE 23 that I installed in 2008, 16-years ago. The new SONAR transducer will fit almost flush to the hull bottom and will be a CHIRP model with a power rating of 1000K [probably means 1,000 Watt]. It should fit the existing hole....

Re-power or Sell and Buy New Boat: Half-baked Ideas
Since 1992 I have owned a 1987 18-foot hull [of unspecified model]. Since about 2011 I have been thinking of re-powering the [18-foot unspecified hull]. The [18-foot hull of unspecified model] came with a 1987 Yamaha 150-HP two-stroke-power-cycle engine. The 1987 Yamaha 150-HP two-stroke-power-cycle...

Re: 250 OUTRAGE: Remove Clamshells and Plug Through-hull Drains in Fish Boxes
The clamshells keep the water pressure off the thru hull flange as well as make the venturi effect to drain while running . They need to stay on the boat .
You need to work with your storage operators not modify the hull

Re: 23 Outrage with Honda BF225
I have that same 1998 outrage hull with a Yami F250. Workes great -They did not yet have the 300hp when I repowered in 2007. That would be my motor of choice. The boat came with a yami 2 stroke 250. You are operating a tad underpowered. You need to change your prop to get it to max out just before m...

Ordering Canvas On-line
Our local [boat canvas] shop is gone. My last custom cover lasted 20 years. I need a new one for my 1986 OUTRAGE 18 with custom bow railings that are 20-inches high (made by RAILMAKERS in San Francisco). Anyone had one made in last few years? Any suggestions [where to order on-line]? I'm getting a q...
