Brunswick states standard configuration with swamped capacity is 4000LBS. However, should a person go with keel rollers, all rollers, or float on? Further, what trailer is preferable for the seating on the trailer of a whaler; lower, higher?

Q1: trailer would be suitable for a GUARDIAN 25?

I am in the process of purchasing a GUARDIAN 25 and the trailer needs replacing.

Looks real good. What is the shaft length of the Evinrude engines? Did you extend the transom?

Does taking the cuddy off a 1989 27-foot centre console boat weaken the integrity of the hull? I am interested in the 10-foot beam and getting rid of the cuddy. There are pics of members refurbishing 22-footers and removing the cuddy. Does anyone foresee problems with a this type of project?
