Thanks jim - amen to the price reference....
In a perfect world, I would have a comfortable helm seat and a single seat leaning post / rocket launcher in place of twin swivel seats-
It's h$&@ getting old and any time I can sit in a comfortable seat, I'm all in....

Low Profile Bow Railing for OUTRAGE 22
[This author says he is] thinking about changing the bow rail on my 1989 OUTRAGE 22 for some low-profile grab rails a la GUARDIAN hulls. Is the distance between where the rails are screwed into the deck similar? I don't mind filling holes, but I don't want to drill anew.

Re: Outrage 22 Alternative Helm Seating
Thanks jimh
Question is whether other outrage 22' owners have outfitted their boats with some of the after- market helm seats that are available- and if so, what type of modifications needed to be made ... Pedestal seat height, width of chairs etc

Outrage 22 Alternative Helm Seating
[This author wants to make contact with others who] have experience with aftermarket seating on an OUTRAGE 22.
I have seats made by Pompette now, and I have had a leaning post in the past. [I am] wondering [if] any captain's chairs might fit.

Re: Swivel Rod Holder in Gunwale of OUTRAGE 22
Apologies- Swivel rod holders, unlike typical rod holders found on small boats, allow a rod and reel setup to move 360 degrees. This means there is no need to ever remove the rod and reel setup from the swivel rod holder. The angler fights the fish by using the boat, instead of his or her body. Idea...

Swivel Rod Holder in Gunwale of OUTRAGE 22
Looking for advice from someone with experience with reinforcing a gunwale mounted swivel rod holder on an early 1990 OUTRAGE 22. Give me an opinion, a suggestion, or guidance--Redline
