Re: New to forum, but boat is not
As Simon already knows, many of us know this boat when it was owned by Tony Wilde.

Re: Outrage 190 console courtesy lights
Forgot to mention, I installed a battery operated courtesy light in the console of my Outrage 17. I did not want the hassle of wiring when it was only used infrequently. Something like this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Sylvania-Dot-It-LED-Battery-Operated-Stick-On-Tap-Light-Silver-36010/100670785

Re: Outrage 190 console courtesy lights
For the 2013 Outrage 190, see Sheet 7 of this parts diagram from the Owner's section of Bostonwhaler.com.
There is also a parts listing for everything shown at the end of the diagrams.

Re: 2007 MONTAUK Rub Rail Color Restoration
Another product that works after wet sanding is Penetrol. It is in the paint department.

Then again, it's rubrail. If it doesn't have some damage, you need to spend more time on the water. (humor!)

Re: Longevity of Horns
Two options:
--install the replacement inside the console, or
--install on the side of the console pointed down slightly (to allow water to drain)
I had this type of unit on my boat for seven years without a single problem:

Re: Windshield Replacement
Many members have gotten replacement windshields from UDP.
They did a custom order of Montauk windshields years ago that was admirable.

Fish--the 704 is fussy with just a clicking sound to indicate neutral. It takes time to get used to the feel. I would hate a control the locked into neutral.

They are not available.
One could fabricate something using fiberglass or even a composite material.

Another great refinement.
I would double check the rigging height. The motor looks to be mounted too low. E-TEC's like to be mounted rather high (3 holes up)

Re: Yeti or Orca Cooler for Montauk
There have been several members who installed Yeti's. I would look through the old forum for comments.
Consider you will need to modify or remove/replace the cooler cleats and drill new holes.
I never had problems with the Igloo coolers in both my Outrage and Montauk.
