Q3: From what source did you make the inference that there was a factory option available for the SUPER SPORT 13 to have an interior that was different than the one shown in the catalogue photograph (that is linked above)?

There is no room under the console to store anything more than a fire extinguisher. I would personally keep what you have and make a storage box for under the front thwart.
