Cost and Benefit of Adding SEAKEEPER RIDE 4500 to 210 MONTAUK

Postby vmaren » Fri Nov 08, 2024 9:38 am

Q1: how many 210 MONTAUK boat owners have installed Seakeeper RIDE 4500 stabilization systems?

Q2: is the benefit that might be produced by the SeaKeeper RIDE 4500 stabilization system worth the cost of installation of the system?

ASIDE: my particular 210 MONTAUK [of unknown model year and age with unknown engine and unknown propeller and unknown engine mounting height and operating in an unknown location in unknown waters] does not have trim tabs.

The Seakeeper is expensive and heavy. Finding space for the installation may not be possible. The unit also consumes a lot of electrical power.

There is no data available on this website about the frequency with which owners of a 210 MONTAUK install SEAKEEPER RIDE 4500 systems. I doubt that you can find any data about that anywhere, other than perhaps anecdotal data from one or two people.

Q3: if you are considering installing a SEAKEEPER RIDE 4500 system on your MONTAUK, exactly how import in making that decision is the frequency at which other owners have done that?
