Q1: where is the hull identification number or HIN on a 1987 OUTRAGE 20?

ASIDE: I just bought a 1987 OUTRAGE 20, but I do not have the hull identification number.

There is/was a metal tag on the outside of the transom on the upper right near the top.

There is a stencil number gelcoated on the forward wall of the transom and up forward.

What does the last registration show?

• the manufacturer's identification code,
• a five-character production or serial number,
• the month of production,
• the year of production, and
• the model year designation.
