On my recently purchased 2004 190 NANTUCKET the cockpit deck that is forward of the center console and to starboard is bulging upward, as shown below in Figure 1.
This problem was pre-existing at purchase in 2023. I now suspect that the foam interior may be wet. I have been on a watch for this [deformation of the deck to change]. I now am concerned there is water in the hull foam.
Q1: how can water that is inside the hull and in the foam be repaired?
Another concern: after a rain I am notice the engine splash well lower drain on the transom has brown water, and if you look closely {at the stain that remains, the source of the brown water] seems to have been from seepage from inside the hull. The other through-hull drains for the cockpit and the live well are plastic drains--they look new and may have replaced the original fittings. The engine splash well drains look like they are made from copper and are the original fittins and have never been replaced.
Give me advice on how to remedy these two problems
ASIDE: I am now in the second season of owning a 2004 190 NANTUCKET, and I love everthing about it.

Re: 2004 190 NANTUCKET Cockpit Deck Bulging Upward; Brown Water in Through Hull Drain
Because your 2004 boat is just ten years old, there may be coverage from the original ten-year hull warranty. I don't know for certain if second-owners can obtain a remedy under that warranty. Contacting Boston Whaler to establish for certain if there remains any warranty coverage would be a good action. If the warranty is still in effect, then the next step is to determine if the problem with the upward deformation of the cockpit deck forward and to starboard of the center console is indicative of a manufacturing defect and the repair would be covered under the warranty.
