Where is the best source for a gel coat color match for a 2012 Montauk 150?

I'm starting out on do-it-yourself hull repairs. GIve me advice.

Marine Tex in white is all you need.

Phil, what’s your suggestion on repairing this? See attached photo. Damage is about 1-1.5 inches wide under bow rub rail.

With a small nail I would pick at the cracked gelcoat to remove any loose pieces.

Apply painters tape to underside of the rubrai and 1" from the edge of the damaged area.

Sand the exposed fiberglass to rough it up.

Wipe off residue with Acetone.

Apply Marine Tex using plastic putty knife so it is just level or slightly higher. Cover with clear packing tape to get a smooth finish. If there is too much material, remove, replace and reapply tape. Remove after 2 hrs.

It appears that the cracks may extend up under the rubrail. I hope your repair can be made without removing it.

Our West Marine store stocks Marine Tex.

Oh the rub rail! That was my next question. How do I remove it if I need to? Any tricks?

Off the top of my head.

The rub rail is made from two parts. Receiver and insert (middle piece).

Remove the insert, starting at the stern end and work your way toward the bow past the damaged area.

The receiver is attached with rivets. I would drill through the rivets for 2' on each side of the damage and try to press the down a bit to access. If more room is needed, drill more of the rivets out.

Once repaired, seal the old rivet holes with marine sealant. Position the receiver back in place and drill pilot holes through receiver and gunwale cap next to each rivet hole and then insert sealant and drive #6 x 1-1/2" stainless screws.

Reinstall the insert.

Thanks Phil for all the help. Do you know when Spring is going to be here so I can start the repairs? :)
