Electrical wiring CANNOT be described effectively in a narrative. Circuit diagrams are needed.

Your statement suggests to me that wiring diagrams are not going to be very helpful for you. However, here are some references with wiring diagrams. These are not diagrams for a RAGE. They are generic diagrams.
For an example of ignition key switch wiring, see

https://continuouswave.com/whaler/refer ... ePump.htmlIf you plan to re-wire the electrical system on the boat and install new primary power distribution, primary battery switches, secondary power distribution, new switches, and so on, you should gain a thorough understanding of proper marine wiring practices. Consult the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) publications for advice on how to comply with their recommendations and federal regulations. One of the worst possible situations for a boat to be re-wired by someone not skilled in electrical wiring installation, practices, and standards.
Finally, for advice on how to wire the engine, consult the engine installation manual and its circuit diagrams.
For a very cursory overview see:

Ampere-Feet--A Method For Selecting Conductor Sizehttps://continuouswave.com/whaler/refer ... tion1.htmlThat all the skill and knowledge needed for re-wiring of a boat could be imparted in a few posts in a forum is very unlikely.
