2015 270 Vantage Two Waste Pump-out Ports

My 2015 270 Vantage has two separate waste pump-out ports. A technician came to replace the vacuum pump and said he's been repairing boat waste systems for years and he's never seen this.

Boston Whaler tech help told me they can't help because the records for my boat are too old and to go to my local Whaler dealer to ask.

My local Whaler dealer can't explain either.

Q1: what purpose is intended by having two separate waste pump-out ports?

Q2: are the two waste pump-out ports provided on the head itself?

Q3: are there two separate fittings on the hull for connecting a marina pump-out hose?

ASIDE: if a 2015 boat is “too old” to receive factory tech support, Boston Whaler is losing its “legendary” company ethos.

If the pump-out ports are located on the port and starboard sides it adds convenience.
